Simply Suzette brought all of the partners involved in this project together. She knew that Triarchy had been grappling with the end-of-life dilemma and our desire to find a way to recycle jeans with ease. The prospect of dissolvable thread and a jean with truly no plastic components whatsoever garnered an instant yes from us. In addition, the Simply Suzette team also produced and directed the supplier launch video.
Triarchy is a family-owned and operated denim brand that is leading the way in responsible denim manufacturing. By embracing responsible manufacturing techniques over broad sustainability claims, the brand is able to share radical transparency through 3rd party auditors who expose the brand's practices as a low-water, toxic chemical and plastic-free fabrics pioneer in the denim industry.
Each garment that Triarchy makes comes with a unique QR code that acts as a digital passport to share all of the garment's individual responsibility metrics and blockchain-verified supply chain source map. Triarchy offsets the carbon and plants a tree for every pair of jeans sold. Changing the denim industry one pair of jeans at a time.
AGI Denim (Artistic Garment Industries) is Pakistan's leading vertical premium denim manufacturer. The denim manufacturer's innovative culture and commitment to sustainability and social responsibility are reflected in its best-in-class infrastructure, end- to-end LEED Gold certification, and B Corp certification.
AGI Denim is the ideation and production partner. The denim manufacturer produced all Cellsius garments in-house at their LEED Gold certified facilities in Karachi, Pakistan. All the garments were made using AGI Denim's proprietary Refresh denim process.
Founded by innovators from Stockholm's KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2012, Re: NewCell AB (publ)('Renewcell') is a multi-award-winning sustain tech company based in Sweden. The company's vision is to make fashion circular.
Renewcell partnered through the provision of their responsible material Circulose®. The fabric uses 9% Circulose® a recycled material made from textile waste, and 21% viscose from sustainably managed forests.
Circulose® is a chemically recycled material from 100% textile waste.
Coats is a world leader in thread manufacturing and structural components for apparel and footwear, as well as an innovative pioneer in performance materials.
The exclusive EcoCycle threads were provided by Coats. These threads offer the same performance as conventional threads used in jeans manufacturing, but at the end of the garments life cycle, having been sewn using Coats EcoCycle threads, can be dissolved at the end of the lifecycle by immersing the garment at 100°C for 20 minutes.
This allows the garment to be easily disassembled.

Lava® Con DOZ Conc. is an ozone bleaching Chemical that is used to bring garments shade down without using hard bleach or potassium permanganate.
